Traction bar setup help

Hello, I'm working on building a set of traction bars for the 2011 2500 crewcab longbed. It has a set helper air bags so I dont have alot of room to work with. I picked this up from ballistic fabrication

Was planning to replace the lower mount for the air bags with it and have the bars mounted to it. The bars will be about 66" link to link. But the bars will be just below the middle point of the axle and about 2" forward. Will this work or do I need to alter the mounts for the bars to make them alittle lower?

Went and picked up 2-2x.250x60" dom bars are the local scrapyard. 18.30/foot. Started prepping the bars. They were covered in some sort of grease. Guess it was there to help protect the bars. And used my angle grinder to put a bevel on the ends to get better weld penetration. Also ordered 2 axle link mounts to place the bar lower on the axle to help keep it from twisting. Since I'll be under the truck welding anyway should I put a few extra beads between the axle tube and the pumpkin? Dont plan on alot of hard launches or anything but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I'm not the best welder but it'll hold. I tacked it in 4 spots then welded from one rack to the next.

Rustoleum self etching primer

And some fire engine red

I'm starting a new job tomorrow so I may have to wait another week or 2 to get them onto the truck.
