Question Pertaining to the 60k Mile Aisin Filter/Fluid Change

I'm getting ready to perform the 60,000 mile service on the Aisin transmission. I've read a couple posts where after the fluid and filter change there is a loud clunk in the transmission when shifting it into gear (just on the first shift of the gear level immediately after changing the fluid). Not everyone has mentioned this though. After I'm done changing the filter and fluid is there something I need to do like run it for a certain amount of time or in a specific manner? I'd like to avoid this and would like to know what the procedure is once it's done. Thank you

It happens every time I change the filter. You might possibly try starting the truck several times before dropping it into gear. It seems that the momentary low pressure from the empty pan along with the filter removal triggers the limp mode which gives the harsh shift. One key cycle clears the limp mode but it takes a half dozen or more to turn off the MIL. Just a thought, no guarantee but worth a shot.

I figured I'd update this thread incase anyone comes across it in the future. I was able to replace my filter the other day and I found that when I started the truck the CEL came on (which I was expecting). I never put it in gear and I ended up restarting it 3 times. On the third restart the CEL was off and at that point I put it into gear. It shifted smooth and I never had any clunking or hard shifts from it.
