knocking Noise From Dirvetrain

I have a 2016 2500 with the 68rfe trans. It has 14,000 miles on it. In the last couple of weeks I've experienced a knocking noise under acceleration from a stop.... not hard acceleration, just normal take off. It has happened four times now and each time was when the truck was cold and the outside temp was fairly cold as well ( 25-30 degrees). The knocking noise sounds as if it is in the drive-train .... It is definitely proportional to the rotation of the drive-train. It only does it when cold.

Anybody experience anything similar?

I should also mention that the truck is deleted and tuned with a 5" Turbo Back Flo-Pro Exhaust on it. I do not think it is a exhaust issue ... I have never beat on the truck at all .... haven't towed anything with it yet either.

The noise is showing up more often. It really sounds like it is coming from the trans .... first gear only. It will not do it once everything is up to temp.

Anyone have any ideas at all? Driving me nuts!

I don't know for sure but I think it may have been an injector sticking. I have run Stanadyne in every tank of fuel since the end of March and have never heard it again.
