Ticking noise underneath

I have a 2015 6.7 cummins 2500, barely pasted 25k mi, and I am having an annoying ticking noise coming from front underneath my truck been there for about 5k mi the sounds comes and goes and it's not consistent, I've taken it to the dealer 3 times already and every time I take it never makes the noise for them while they have it. I've looked it up on here some say thrust bearing broken, cp3 needs rephasing, or injector, but some how the dealer never comes the noise or hears it so says there's nothing they can do if they can hear or find it but when I leave and get home it's making the noise. ANY advice on what to do now????? Just don't want something to be wrong and I cause something bigger.

My truck makes the same noise as this one.

I've have a come and go ticking noise too. Also took it to the dealer. They can't replicate it. Mine goes away when I unplug the EGR valve. Not sure if it's the EGR valve or not. Had that checked at the dealer too. They said it's fine. I've had the noise for a couple years. I've learned to live with it.

Depending on where it's coming from under the vehicle it could be the SCR system injecting DEF into the exhaust.

That makes a prominent ticking sound right below the drivers side door, slightly back.

So, is the ticking noise right under the driver's side, a little back, that might be DEF related, an ok thing? Or does it need to be addressed. My 2018 never used to do it, but now at about 35k, it does it all the time.

Crawl underneath and find where the DEF injector is. Is the ticking coming from there?
