stock 2016...adding boost fooler?

so I can't find much on this for new trucks but if I add one will the computer trace it at all? can the dealership find a history of it running over stock boost pressures? I no it fools the computer so u don't get a CEL but I don't want a history of it if I bring it in for service or recalls...I also want to hear any bad news about these things, thanks guys!
