G56 Destruction whats next (pics inside)

Spinning pretty hard in 4th the other day and she caught some traction. Finally had some time to tear it apart today, this is the outcome

Whats my best option to hold the power im around. Stock nv5600 hold up with a nice clutch or should I be looking into a 48 swap? Looking for some other input maybe from people who have done them? Im tossing both ideas around currently.

it's easily double the money compared to the NV which is the only real set back. But another thing is I don't want to mess with it. Last thing I wanna do after working on cars all day is go home and work on my own crap!

Ocasional towing nothing crazy mostly daily driver/toy never track it but it sees a lot of abuse around town. Honestly somewhat suprized it lasted as long as it did. And power wise Yeah most likely maybe some bigger injectors and proper tuning eventually

Nothing crazy like boiling the tires in 4th at boost with a modded hot rod Cummins with bro dozer tires and hooking up hard instantly.....lol. Can't understand why that pos just fell a part?....
Prolly just installed all those go fast parts last week and never even squealed the tires before this........

I'd say go the Re route, unless your dead set on keeping it a hand shaker. The NV holds up good until your spinning and catch traction. I blew 3rd in a NV 4500 in my 98 3 times due to spinning 35's and high boost (never had a problem with any other gear) Nv5600's are pretty stout but new old stock parts are hard and expensive to find and New aftermarket parts aren't usually as strong as the original parts unless treated/cryo'd. The re route is gonna cost more in the beginning but it will be faster and if driven sensibly will probably be cheaper in the long run due to less broken parts if its built properly.

There's quite a few guys making big power with a g56. A Valair ceramic triple disc and a torque shield should help keep it alive

I only see two gears failed. Can't you just replace those gears? Or are they "not sold separately"? Is the case cracked?

I dont not believe the gears can just be replaced. I think the whole main shaft would need to be bought,

The Mopar parts catalog shows the gears on the input shaft and main shaft are all available individually (although it appears that the front gear on the input shaft is part of the shaft itself).

But you are correct regarding the countershaft; it is apparently only available as a complete kit, with the shaft and all four gears.

Maybe a junkyard trans would be the best bet.
