Game Time! Who can guess the leak!

In the process of doing a erg delete found this mess coming out of a fitting? Truck only has 33k miles on it WTF!!!!!!

Can anyone help determine where it could be coming out of? Or if it's a common problem?I have problem with leaks, and cannot drive my truck knowing it's like that!

A little bit more seepage than most , but i have 25% of what i see on yours ... i have 48k on mine . I sure your fine don't worry...
Would like to add possible build lube.....

Very common on these trucks. It's the gasket between the cylinder head and the rocker box. Mine seeps as well.

So you guys definitely think is between the head the the rocker box? Because if so I think I can live with that leaking haha

Headstuds and while you're in there take a look and replace with a new gasket!

Am I just missing something in the "new to me" 4th gen 6.7 cummins deal or why is this acceptable ? Especially under 50k miles. Is it the gasket quality itself or what allows oil to push through?

In my opinion this isn't acceptable either. If I saw that on mine I'd be ripping it off, cleaning surfaces and putting a new gasket in. I can't stand leaks

178k on my 6.7 and no seepage

If this minor issue is getting you stressed out, I hope you never have any real problems with your truck.

Remove the plastic cover, remove the top valve cover. Check to make sure all the rocker bolts are tight.
Clean the entire area. Re-inistall the valve cover and plastic cover.
Carry on...
