lol I doubt your taller than my truck and my 5" looks just fine....

something like that equates to you being similar to a ricer in a honda

Had a 5-6 on my last truck. Does anyone have pics of a 5-7? Non rolled edge would be great but that's asking alot lol 8" is tough to make look right IMHO

First off, who gives a damn what anyone thinks, it's your truck, do what you want with it. I laugh at how folks gawk at a large exhaust tip, yet throw 22"+ gold wheels, and 5 light bars on their trucks.

I got a ton of crap from folks when I bought an 8" tip for my truck, yet the majority of them liked it when they actually saw it on the truck.

As far as fitment, I simply loosened the clamp holding the last section of exhaust on, and rotated it down a hair, then trimmed it up.

IDGAF what others think, I like the looks of it, and while it doesn't give any performance benefits, it changes the sound quite a bit.

Is that like a 12 inch lift? I totally understand now why with that tall of a truck you want that sewer pipe attached to your stock exhaust.

On edit: to avoid conflict I'll just say now, I'm just messing, do what you want. With a lifted truck, tires and wheels are a must. Well, I guess not a must, but I don't like the carnival car look of my mini tires on my stock height truck.

ha, I'd lift it if I had the money to do so, I had a 10'' lift and 40's on my last Cummins and I loved it. But no dice on this one so far, just got a set of Cooper STT Pros to put on it here soon, but that's about it. I get why people don't care for the big exhaust tips, it's personal preference, the same as paint color and such. On my last one I had a 5''to 6'' on it and thought it was too small. I opted to go with the 8'' over the 7'' this time. Big, absolutely, but it grew on me. I guess what irritates me, is that as a diesel community it seems as if in the past few years people have become more condescending and judgmental within, about trivial things. just my $.02.

Fair enough. Plenty of the city folks around here think it's lifted, makes me chuckle.

LMAO! My old lady points out every dodge with the mirrors "deployed". She's going to love that word.
