The last thing I saw from transengineer was to use Valvoline fluid in the change. Sure wish ram would cover that! Any other recent updates transengineer?
No updates, sorry. I've been retired for the last year so I'm out of the loop now.

I installed the BD protect68 kit, deep pan and valvoline atf +4 and the combination of those fixed mine 99% of the time. I get the chirp every once in a while under heavy throttle (90% or more) in the 3-4 shift and that’s it.

I don't think it's a problem. If I perform clutch fill calibrations on a Caterpillar machine, you would swear the thing is coming apart for all the noise, chirp, what ever the sounds that are made when the clutches come on.

I had a recall done on mine which all but eliminated the chirp. They put in a new valve body and changed the fluid and filter. Since then it only chirps under hard acceleration and even then it isn't nearly as noticeable as before.

My paperwork says U29 Transmission Solenoid recall. It was the solenoid pack they replaced. My dealer couldn't order the part until the truck was in their possession so it took them two days to complete the recall.

Did your truck throw a code before the U29?
