Yeah Im not sure what you guys are calling a "Chirp". Mine has the typical 3-4 bog/grunt, but anyone who's spent time on a manual knows thats a perfectly normal sound for a trans to make.

I do not have the shift chirp that I have noticed. I also dont really go over 40% throttle very often. I'm a grandpa driver lol as my co workers tell me. When I first tuned my truck I was using the original 2.1v 0-180 hp sotf w/tcm. One thing I do not like is when I first put the truck in drive it feels like it jumps into gear, but so far I am happy with the tune 2.1b. It runs alot smoother and I run the 80hp tune for daily driving. Also when I change the sotf I can actually feel the diffrence compared to the 3.2a beta I was running before.

What are the shift points on 2.1b?

I will have to check that out. I have not payed much attention, but I will watch it next time I head out.

I sent ctt a message about my 3.2 tune to see if maybe something is not right with it. Just waiting to hear back.

Switched back to the 2.1 tune 2 days ago. The harsh 5-4 downshift coasting uphill on all of the 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4 tunes did it in for me. I only have about 350km's on the 2.1 tune but I'm back to enjoying the truck now! I had the same issue with the 3.x tunes where performance didn't feel any different than the eco tune. I've had about 15 different tunes/revisions since April from CTT, but overall the newer tunes aren't as good as the 2.1E tune that I have. Pros and cons to all of the ones I've tried though.

This is what I got for a response from CTT. "We have not experienced any smoke issues at all with that file in all honesty 2.1 is way smokier on my truck than 3.2". So I asked if maybe the 3.2 tune I was given may have had an issue. Waiting to hear back now.

The 30HP W/TCM Tuning 2.1 doesnt smoke at all (that ive noticed) and shifts are pretty smooth under ~50% throttle. Above that and they can get a little "jerky". All in all im really happy with they way everything turned out. Time will tell though, i currently only have about 1,000 miles on it since i did everything
