Opinions on next stage of my build

I have a 2011 2500. Deleted, 5"tbe, air dog II 165 modified to fit a cat 2micron filter, s&b intake and a mini maxx. I getting a Valair street dual disk clutch and custom MCC tuning by the end of the month. In the next month or two I'm planning on getting a grid heater delete plate, sinister diesel intake horn, 30% injectors from bitterroot diesel, fuel rail shim kit and a wicked wheel 2. And head studs in The following month. Will most likely get the arp 425s or the A1 H11 studs. Not looking for all out performance or anything. Around 500-550hp would be nice. Would this combo be a good match. I tow a few times a year and will be moving to the southeast this summer where I plan on starting in a construction job so towing might become more frequent.

All you really need is clutch and tuning to get you to a 500hp goal.

Just replied to your pm. I'd still like to do the grid heater delete and intake horn. More for looks than anything I guess lol. Then maybe the wicked wheel. Save the money for the injector nozzles and do the head studs instead.

Okay. So I'll probably get the head studs first then. Probably a better idea anyway.

On another note, a few times when I've gotten on it the rpms will get to around 2400ish rpms and itll buck and lose all power. I've watched the mini maxx and the rail pressure will go from 24kpsi to about 15-16k psi. Not sure if the computer is sensing the clutch slipping and drops the rail pressure or if the prv is popping. I'm not getting any codes. Should I shim or plug the rail?

If I already had a vice maybe lol. Might give me an excuse to get one.
Was planning on going to the hardware store tomorrow to see if they carry the M20x1.5 nut and pick up some #4 washers.

Called valair and ordered their organic dual disk clutch kit. I've noticed the last few days that the clutch is slipping more while accelerating in 5th and 6th gear. Should be here next week and planning on renting a lift at the auto shop on base on the 23rd to install.

The lift will make it easier for sure. Did mine on jack stands and it was a pain the first time. Sure the second time will be easier. Good luck and hope it works out well for ya.

Have you thought about traction bars? I would like to get some myself. There is some serious axle wrap on these trucks.

I have. Tried to talk with a local builder to get a custom set but he wont get back to me. I have a set of air helper bags that bolt the the frame where the bump stop was and attaches to the axle between the shock and leaf mounts. My rear is still stock height but with the 37 mud tires I can definitely fell it. Especially now that theres random ice spots on the road. The rear will start to spin the itll catch traction. Definitely not good.
