Exclamation 68RFE Zero shift flare -solution

High Power Performance's latest update august 2017.

Every shift is smoothe and accurate with zero flare. Every downshift is smoothe as well.

Spread the word-you want a 68RFE that finally shifts nice and doesn't flare anymore-contact @jonathanrayce at Higher Power Performance.

This is a big leap forward fellas!

It's hard to drive and record so forgive the shakiness. Zero flare between any gears. Especially between the dreaded 3-4 and 4-5. Those use to be horrible!

I will second that ! Didn't think that the 68 would ever be able to shift like it is now

I figured it was worth starting its own separate thread. It's kind of a big deal

+3 from me! Having the other 2 makers as well, I've pretty much hated the 68rfe since day one. Not any more though!

Agreed. Can't imagine how long it took to get that shift flare gone

Sooo how long until this becomes the industry standard?? I was legit getting ready to buy my EZ LYNK kit through PPEI this afternoon. Now I'm second guessing.

I guess until the other tuners start figuring it out. Until then I think this sets HPP apart from the other tuners out there.

No offense to the other tuners as they have great tunes and customer service.

No just in tow haul and manual select modes. Normal mode is 3 rd gear lockup

Ok, so basically the same as it was in his previous tune, minus the flare.

+4 On best shifting with Jonathan w/EZ Lynk. Go with Jonathan, other tuners play catch up to his standard with transmission tuning. There is a reason Revmax endorses Jonathan as their preferred tuner and they have worked with about every tuner out there and have seen their transmission tuning.
