2017 C&C 3500 drivers headlight and turn signal

I bought a 2017 C&C 3500 4x4 flatbed with 60k miles a couple of weeks ago. Drivers headlight and turn signal do not work. Bulbs are good. Drivers side running light works on startup occasionally but no drivers headlights ever. When left turn signal is applied the high and low beam light flash very dimly instead but not always. Rear signal works like a champ. Bulb out message on dash. The rear wires for the bed were butchered with all the plugs cut off when I got it. Iím pretty sure I have that all corrected and no wires are touching or grounded. Iím stumped and none of the headlight threads I can find are for a 17. Thanks for any help

That sounds like a ground problem. Have you pulled the left headlight and checked the connections?

Maybe if we start telling people that the brain is an app, they will start using it?

I pulled the headlight and connected it to the passenger side as a quick bulb and connector test. I have had it out, unplugged, and reconnected several times. It will flash the high and low beams until the bulb out message pops up and then it quits.

So it works when on the right side?
I'm about to swap headlights soon, that'll refresh my memory about where the ground wires are.

That's a good question. What I'm saying is I unplugged the drivers headlight from the single factory plug located directly behind it, and I connected it on the passenger side just to test it. The best I can tell is that the ground is in the wiring harness from the headlight and must split off somewhere around or under the fuse box. I'm chasing wires myself at this point.

Problem is fixed. Long story short and for the record it was that way when I bought it and I did not catch it until tonight. When the park light/turn signal connector plug and the headlight connector are switched. You get a headlight and turn signal that do not work. Oh well we live and we learn.

Good, it was a simple fix after all.
