50% waste engine oil is 10x as much as the maximum Cummins specs. They say not to go over 5%.
Likewise, if you have the stock filter canister, you're not filtering that oil well enough, and there's a lot of particulates smaller than the stock filter's cut off that are still too big for the injectors.
I won't be terribly surprised if what you're seeing is GREY smoke, but I'd be even less surprised if your HPCR has turned your 50/50 oil fuel mix into a nice slurry for wearing your injectors out rapidly.... especially at higher pressures.
If you have 159,000 miles on the truck on original injectors, and have been running even the most clean diesel through the stock filter, it's time to change the injectors.
