06 5.9L will not turn over/ No spark code

So I am sure this is covered deep down in the depths of this forum but I am too lazy to search. lol
I replaced my starter about 1-2 months ago, today I went to start my truck and nothing, no clicking sound, just silence. I got a engine light and when I retrieved the code it said no spark. Anyway after a few more attempts the truck turns over and starts fine. Any suggestions on cause and possible no spark failure code?

Start by changing the spark plugs & coils.

Being serious now, what code# you were coming up with? That would help out tremendously with helping diagnose your problem.

Yeah the no spark threw me a little, so I made sure to check the plug gaps and adjust the points. LOL

So of course after the issue at lunch yesterday, I have had no issue again YET. However one thing I paid attention too was which way i inserted the key(buttons on key towards me instead of away) could it be that simple? Has anybody come across where either the key and chip inside wear or the tumbler and will only work with the key inserted 1 way?

Key position does not matter, ring style antenna in skim module reads key.

Sure starter is good seen some garbage reman starters sold at chain auto part stores.
If sure starter is good should load test batteries double check good wiring including grounds to starter .

Get proper scanner to read DC Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus system
Some trucks turning key on key off 3 times in 5 seconds show active codes.

Ok, checked all wire connections and are tight, went 2 days no problems. This morning of course in the pouring rain same problem.

So I eventually shook the gear selector while turning the key and it started up.

Are you seeing the square box around park. I had a similar issue. Was not getting square around park. Replaced range selector ( neutral safety switch) fixed mine.

Yeah indication is good, it also would not crank when in neutral. I am thinking the Neutral Safety Switch at this point.
