Glad you got er fixed! Huge feeling of relief I'm sure....
What I want to know is where on earth you find a 13 year old truck with 18,500miles on it (4000miles into your trip)?
You find Grandpa's garage queen last month that Grandma hasn't driven in 12 years?

For sure, I was in pannick mode. Got to be back to work Tuesday and I didn’t know how I was going to get the 5er and truck back home to Pa if this problem wasn’t resolved.

I found the truck in December of 2016 with 2,100 miles on it. Was stored in a heated garage on jackstands for 6 years. Looked like it just came from the showroom so I couldn’t walk away without it. The only thing I don’t like about it is the small quad. The back seats are tight but manageable. I often ponder about selling and getting into a newer truck (crew cab or mega) but trying to hold off. It’s more truck then I will ever need but I know doesn’t compare to the comfort and refinement of a 4th gen.

Wow, unreal!
And on the upside, if you do want to upgrade, that truck will be of significant value for years to come still.
