Industrial Injection silver bullet 62

I'm considering buying a silver bullet second hand from a guy and I'm wondering what all I will need to install all my 2006. The guy claims the turbo came off of a 2006 but it doesn't look like anything on their website. I saw on the stock turbo there is a plug for something on the wiring harness and I'm not familiar with turbos so I have no clue what all I would need to make it work.

These are the only pictures he had on the ad.

Any help would be appreciated.

Itís a silver 62 which is a 62/74/14. It will bolt up but your not gonna like the 74 turbine without some fueling upgrades.

What fueling upgrades are necessary? I do have a tuner if that helps

I would pick a different turbo. That turbo will be slow to spool. Do you tow at all? What kinda power goal do have?

I do tow, I have a bigger boat and ATV's. I also occasionally tow vehicles on a big heavy 2 axle car trailer. I have an edge EZ and a edge evolution, turbo back 4" and 3" intake elbow. Stock everything else. I'm more concerned with how hot my exhaust gets when I tow or turn up my tuner for performance. My goal is to get the best performance out of the truck for mostly towing and MPG. I got both tuners for SUPER cheap so that really the only reason I run them. Everyone keeps saying EFI LIVE but I really don't need all that. I honestly don't even need the tuners I have but I like the power when I want it.

You will not like that turbo for what you want out of the truck. My suggestion is a 62/65 drop in turbo if you really want to swap your turbo. Everyone says go to a custom tune for a reason, it will be the most beneficial thing you will do to your truck. Iíd be looking into tuning before a turbo

Thanks for the input man. I really thought I would cut a fat hog on this deal because of how cheap it was. I was hoping it would work out but it doesn't sound like it will.

That turbo is worth about $200 if he polishes the turd a bit before shipping.

Tuning will do everything you want including dropping EGT's.
