Intercooler Upgrade - Who do you like?

What are you all running and who do you recommend?


2007 Ram MegaCab Dually 5.9L 6 Spd Manual. K&N air intake, 4" straight pipe, Fleece ProFlo 750 10mm injection pump, AirDog II-4G 165, BBI 1.5 Injectors, Calibrated Diesel Stealth 64mm Turbo, FlexaLite electric fans, SBC DD clutch, Edge CTS2, PPEI EFI Live CSP5

I have a Banks with larger boost tubes, but probably not too much help, it did lower my egt's some.

Iím running a cool twist I believe is the name. Honestly didnít notice much if any improvement. I got it as a package deal with my compounds.

2006 qcsb 4x4, leveled on 35's, 5" exhaust with FTE resonator, ARP head studs, crower 110# valve springs, 7/16 manton push rods, BBI .5 GDP 2 micron fuel, EFI Live from Wildman, Edge CTS2 monitor, ZF6 swap, valair street dual disc, Stock/s475, pacbrake

Just to add to my exp with the Banks cooler I think they claimed 200 deg drop in egt's...I noticed more like 100-125 deg drop. Buy their oversized tubes will flow a ton of air if you have the Turbo.

The Factory intercooler you have works just fine and is all you need. Your money will be better spent elsewhere

My factory intercooler has blown a hole, plus any way to get the EGT’s down I’ll do the upgrade.

Like Gator 1, I went with a Banks charge air cooler. It makes everything on the stocker look puny.

Maybe if we start telling people that the brain is an app, they will start using it?

'14 1500 V6, '17 3500 C&C, plus a '17 2500 in the household.

I understand you need one as yours is leaking, but you would have better luck dropping egts if you ditched that stealth turbo.
