Billet flex plate install
 
Hey when installing a billet flex plate , do I re install the small metal ring that seems to be on the oem flex plate , aka flex plate / ring / bolts and if so are the oem bolts usable .

Thanks , just trying to do it correct

No on the ring, yes on the bolts.

Add some blue locktite on flex plate bolts and converter bolts.

I always use red on those bolts, you really don't want them moving. Ever.

I agree. I also recommend using the ARP flex plate bolts. They have a larger head, and provide more clamping area.
