Turbo help! 6 Speed

Currently in the market for a turbo, looking to stay single turbo. Wondering what turbo would be best for the horsepower im looking for. Looking to be at 800+ probably gonna want more, currently is a 6 speed and im not to sure on what would be a good turbo choice. Gonna be getting 150%+ injectors, dual pumps and a triple disk and all the other supporting mods. Not really looking for anything that is gonna be extremely laggy, would like to drive it around town. Any advice would be great, looking to get my build done.

With dual pumps and 150% injectors, I personally would look into the s369sxe. Has some decent reviews. If your truck is a 03-05, I can speak from experience here....HP Tuning and be done with it.

I'm sure some others will chime in but there's always the 472sxe.....it'll meet your goals and leave plenty of wiggle room for later.

Good to hear your doing the triple disk also....I did the big dual disk from KY Clutch(900+ hp setup) with the centered iron....solid set up so far.

800hp+ going to be pretty laggy with a single turbo but I'd say s472 sxe

I have been reading up on the sxe turbo's and I thought about the s472 but not 100 percent sure I wanna get that but might end up being the way I go. What housing would be best for this turbo and my setup? Thanks for the input.

.90 a/r would be a good choice. Not to sure about how the 1.0 a/r would react.

I'm gonna throw my .02 in and say I don't think you can get there from here. You are needing compounds if you don't want an inefficient (laggy/lazy) 800hp. You can do 800 on a single sure but just reading that you don't want lag tells me you most likely won't be happy with a bigger single. But I guess it's all subjective. If you don't need your truck for towing and its more of a toy then you might be happy.

You wanting to race, pull it or just want 800hp to play with?

I agree. A big single will be very laggy with the 6spd. Either trim down your HP goals with a smaller quicker spooling turbo or step up to twins.

I would go for the s369sxe for a 6 speed I had both the s467 and s369 on my 6 speed. The s369 spooled faster and it also made 855hp on a non loaded dyno.
