05 Ram 2500 5.9 6 Speed CAT Scale Weight

I weighed my truck the other day at a CAT scale. Pretty easy to do and cost $12.00. I'll be getting weights with my new camper empty and loaded later.

It was a little heavier that I thought it would be at 7960lbs.
Steer Axle: 4560lbs
Drive Axle: 3400lbs.

Extra weight: Full tank of fuel, my svelte 235lbs, Drawtite 2600 hitch, adjustable height receiver hitch, small tool box, a couple of boards and a spare trailer tire(mounted).

Upon further review, I guess 7960 seems about right. Sure adds up fast.

I should have probably added that I have 3500 springs, a dynatrac part time kit and Pacbrake (which is not light being cast iron).

Everything adds up.

I'm driving a similar truck. I weigh it every time I got to the waste to energy facility. Lightest weight was just under 7000 lbs with almost nothing in the truck, trash bag and ashtray cleaned out, and maybe a half tank of fuel. Usual weight is in the mid 7000's with tools and junk in the back seat, two guys in the cab, and close to a full tank of fuel.
