Ball joints for my 03

It’s come to my attention that my ball joints are basically done haha, kind of debating going with moog or carli, can’t decide. Any recommendations?

Carli is an excellent choice. EMF is also a good choice. CJC offroad is a sponsor on here and i believe they sell both. I bought EMF ball joints from them. EMF has outstanding customer support by the way.

Thanks for the support! You really can’t go wrong with either the Carli or EMF. I run Carli on my 07.

Carli or EMF, EMF or Carli. I based my decision for EMF on these factors:

1. EMF Costs less, $519.99, Carli $800.
2. EMF has a mechanism to take up any slack that may occur and they provide a tool to take up that slack, Carli does not.
3. EMF provides the proper ball joint press adapters to prevent the installer from pressing against anything except the body of the ball joint. Carli does not.
4. EMF rebuild kits replace not just the ball, but the race too. I think Carli only replaces the ball.
5. The body never has to be pressed out again. They are rebuildable in the truck.
6. Some have reported a break-in period on the Carli, I had no such thing with EMF. They were perfect from the instant they were installed.
7. EMF and Carli each have lifetime warranty.

Oh, and I too bought mine from CJC Offroad. Fast and free shipping.

Do you have any experience using/reviews from customers on the "Synergy Dodge Ram 03-13 HD Adjustable Ball Joint Kit" I want emf but i dont really think i can wait for them to restock. with my budget the synergy looks like the next best options however the synergy wasnt mentioned in the video you guys made "Best Ball Joints for Your HD RAM. Carli, Dynatrac, and EMF Compared."
so i guess my question is, how are they? and why didnt you guys include them in the video of best ball joints haha.

Thanks in advance for the help, really appreciate the customer service and videos and such you guys put out.

If you cant wait for EMF, get carli. If you cant afford carli, get dynatrac, if you cant afford that, go OEM. Save your ball joint bores in your axle.. it will lessen your headache later.

I'm running Moog Problem Solver ball joints on mine. I just had it in for tire rotation and an alignment and after three plus years, no play. I'm running 33" tires.

I think a lot depends on proper maintenance. I give a shot of grease every 5,000 miles on all the front end parts.

Synergy Dodge Ram 03-13 HD Adjustable Ball Joint Kit
The Synergy ball joints were only available in a knurled format, and were out for a very short time when we shot the video. There is a standard version available now, and we've had good experience with other Synergy steering products, so they may be another good option.

Really, do they only make them as they are ordered? I find it had to believe that there is no stock on the shelves. If that truly is the case, I'd wait for the them.

Probably sold out most of the time. I bet they rarely have much stock on the shelf.
