Anyone done this before?
Seats suck in these years. My drivers seat sags real bad, I'd be better off sitting on a bucket flipped upside down.

4th gen seats bolt in with minor modification and a lot better then 2nd gen seats. Why not just get yours re done, you can buy new foam.

New cushions and bottom seat covers are available. Putting 2nd Gen seats in a 3rd Gen is taking a huge step backwards IMHO. I have both and the 3rd Gen seats are far better and more comfortable.

Bottom line, your pick up.

instead of going thru all that hassle, just fix the design flaw in the seat... i did this and it still is holding up awesome, have a new cushion ready to go in with a new cover and e pe t to never hane a seat issue again.
