parking garage clearance issue

A week ago I bought an 05 2500 to be my daily driver. She has 160,000 miles and appears to have been very well maintained. I still get an evil grin ever time I start it up. Anyways my new job will require me to park in a parking garage that has a posted clearance of 6 foot 7. I measured it to be 6 foot 8.5. The previous owner doesn't know how much it was lifted so I was hoping you guys could help me out with that. I figure my two options are to swap out the lift or swap out of the tires. I would like to hear any options you guys may have. Any advice is much appreciated.

It is currently sitting on 35 x 12.5 tires.

Looks like a leveling kit only. Only going to drop about 1" with stock tires.

Seconded, on the leveling kit. Remove the leveling kit and swap tires to a 33Ē. Should bring you down to about a half inch of clearance maybe an inch.

A few years ago they built a beautiful new hospital on wonderful waterfront site on the Mckenzie River. The adjacent parking garage was built with clearance too low for a full size stock height pickup the enter beyond 1/2 of the first floor....major screw up. The snow flakes and sissies appear to be winning. Hope you find a way to work it out.

going from a 35" to a 33" will = a 1" drop, you could measure the spacer above the spring and see how that factors in. I'm at stock height on 33" in tires and have no issues yet on any garage I've gone into. I can measure the height up to the top of the antenna if needed (my garage red flag warning as it sticks just above the cab).

Take it back to stock suspension and tires, you should gain about 4Ē

Have you measured the actual clearance in that garage? That's where I would start.

Maybe if we start telling people that the brain is an app, they will start using it?

Take the leveling kit off the front and the 3 spacers from the rear and itíll be really close. Look up reverse level.

I have not measured the true clearance of the garage. I assume the posted 6 7 on the pvc hanging from the ceiling is true.

It looks like my best bet is removing the front spacer, reverse leveling, and lower profile tires.

Do you also assume that the "35" on your tire's sidewalls is true?

Maybe if we start telling people that the brain is an app, they will start using it?
