Headlight wiring question

I just recently got a 2003 3500 auto and I’m loving it already. The person before me has wires ran everywhere on it though. I consolidated as much as I possibly could. But I noticed a wire running out of a loom on the passenger side under the intake. It was spliced from there to the passenger side headlight socket then under the radiator to the driver side headlight socket. Is this right? Or some kind of homemade jumper wire?

Looks like it isn't right... each light has its own wires from the FCM

03 has the IPM (FCM + PDC).
FCM (Front Control Module) drives the headlights.
FCM is plugged in to the PDC and there are wirings from PDC to headlights.
