It all depends on the market in your area. Check CL and other regional sites to see what similar trucks are going for.

Recently sold my 08 for $21,500 with a plow here in the MidW. Everyone says that the manuals are worth more but it all depends on finding the right buyer, and also some people don't want all of the "upgrades" like guages, plow, rims, or aftermarket stuff. They're worried about the truck being hotrodded, pushed to the limits or just beat and something potentially being wrong with it. I had some pass on even looking at it when they found out that it had been deleted because they were unsure about what issues they might run into not having all of the factory items on the truck??? Others look for trucks with all of the aftermarket stuff on it so they don't have to do anything but drive it once the get it. Good luck

Well if you were out west and a Manual G56 it would be 21 to 25k
If a DRW it would add more.

Hey yes Itís automatic. I checked KBB. I just came out of stealership after talking for about an hour. I have to downsize cause have too many toys. I donít use it to it full potential other than load bed. Just would like a person who really wants a nice original truck.

I would check NADA on the price. KBB was about $4500 off on price when I went and check pricing and NADA was spot on. I wwent to see what I would get for trade in at the stealership and they did not even come close to what both websites said it was worth in trade. Got the ol' "It's harder to sell with a plow, no one wants a long bed or a manual tranny" Told them if no one wanted any they wouldn't make trucks like this or have plows for them, thanks for wasting my time

UtahTrapper is correct. I had a local Dodge Ram dealer tell me a truck like mine with 150K on their lot will list at 21-25K. That's in our region. I was looking at a new Tradesman but could not pull the trigger on a DEF truck that I would have to add a bunch of useable options to. I'll keep mine for awhile yet.

Yes They were $3000 of what I wouldíve done the deal. They asked what would make the deal and I ave them the numbers. They came back with the numbers switched around adding $3000 saying Iím getting a lot of rebate money. I showed them their own truck on lot MSRP 53,000 rebates $4100. My truck ordered is little less but comes out to 52,000 with rebates. Let me ride around a week with Sale sign and see what happens. If I trade I have less taxes really not much.

Does not sound like a downsizing to me if your gonna spend big $ on another truck. Whats the point?

We've already discussed 3rd gen Ram pricing here... they are priceless... Ditch one or more of the other toys, free yourself from the weight of them and be happy to have the ram you have. Think of Roadmedics truck... 904,000 miles before the motor let go. if properly cared for, could be the last truck you'll ever have to buy (unless it gets totaled).

Yes I donít use the truck to itís potential so decided Iím going to put it up for sale. Iíve been thru a lot during the past year which caused this decision. I canít totally ignore myself so Iím stepping down from diesel to a gas short bed truck.

Yeah, I intentionally looked for one pre-DEF age so I'm really happy with a little older rig. To each their own though. I love my truck!

(guilty pleasure tho'... those new F0rds shure look good!)

They way things are going Iím probably going to hold on to it. I looked around a long time to find the one I have and it looks great especially after I just gave it a full detailing. I used my low powered PSI power washer with foam gun. Came out beautiful.
