363sxe Borg Warner (tight exhaust housing for fast spool and quick power given this is a *chase truck*, I would personally do 0.83 housing and 68 turbine wheel. Top end will suffer but just keep it in the sweet spot)
S & B air intake
Exhaust with a muffler probably
Custom tuning by either mm3 or efilive(5 tune on demand) a couple tuners are on this forum, I would use them
I assume this is a 48re truck. Going to NEED a converter and billet input. Triple disc goerend(17SS) and TCS input. A proper built trans with all the billet goodies will also be necessary. I recommend calling dynamic transmission. His knowledge is just insane and he will make your truck shift and behave how it should. His valve body is the bees knees.
And as far as upgrades go for the trans and being you need reliability as this is a chase truck, I would definitely look at bypassing(full delete) the heat exchanger and upgrading the front cooler because the trans will undoubtedly build a ton of heat. I would upgrade the front cooler and add a fan forced cooler under the bed on a thermostatic switch. That should cover the trans.
If your truck has a carrier bearing driveshaft, i would also be looking to 86 that ASAP.
Dont forget to grease the front driveshaft too.. super important as your tcase will inevitably explode if you dont.

That's a list I can put my name on. I could go on and on and on but that covers what you asked about and more.

Man. That is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. I appreciate it. It's actually an NV5600.

Anyone have any recommendations for front and rear lockers? Trying to stay away from ARB because of their reliability issues lately.

I would consider having super stick build your trans or swip swap yours for a built one from super stick. The NV5600 is a stout trans, but it does have some inherent quirks.

Read broaners thread on NV5600s.

FMVB 48re would be a trip..

Dodge powerwagon e-lockers, fit right into our 9.25 and 11.5 AAM diesel axles. Expensive suckers, but electric and no air leaks to deal with.

'07 Mega, 3" DOR lift, Synergy steering, Carli track bar, 37x13.5 Nittos, 5x30" FTE, 4.30 Nitros/e-locker, Throttle-Up fuel filtration, BBI Stage 1 injectors, DSoT driveshaft, DynaLoc hubs, money pit, tuned by Les Szmidt (Silver Bullet).

Just stumbled on this awesomeness.... this is freakin killer! Nice work man, I love the bed you built. Definitely a very unique truck! Your probably done by now but here’s my 2 cents:

for 600hp I agree with Smelonas.... definitely a small frame sxe with the 68 turbine. I also second super stick trans, no other builders compare. I would suggest a triple disc clutch too. Overkill I know, but the low plate loads and more forgiving engagement is worth it. Check out Valairs street triple or Kennys sintered iron triple.
Do some good tuning to get every bit of fuel out of it and your good! Most likely you’ll need fuel to reach 600 but you can always do that another time.

Keep the pics coming.

Hey super kev: any recommendations on where to buy the power wagon lockers?

2004.5 QC/SB, NV5600, kennys dual disk, smarty S-06 UDC, 62/68/.91 T4 SXE, DAP 2nd gen T4 manifold, ARP’s, jake exhaust brake, gdp 2 mic, isspro's, some stupidly wide 20’s and Atturo tires.

Thanks y’all! I really appreciate it. So no other mods? Just turbo and tuner to see 600hp?

Who should I get the turbo from?

Any recommendations on the tuner?

Also, I have a valair dual disk in my truck. Should I wait til it goes until I upgrade? Or upgrade it beforehand?

Thanks. Y’all are great.

Usually you need to ad some fuel to get to 600, but you can definitely get very close. I know 550 is doable, it honestly depends on the truck. So I’d say just do your turbo upgrade and some tuning and see if you like it.

For tuning you want custom tuning. You can use HP tuners or Smarty UDC pro. Either way you’ll need someone to make your tunes. Firepunk, innovative diesel, silver bullet tuning, .... just to name a few. These guys will take care of you.

For the turbo... I got mine from power driven diesel. They have been a very helpful company. Another one I always liked is DAP... diesel auto power has also been helpful and supportive on here. They’re a Borg Warner retailer and stock every single sxe combo you could imagine.

And yes I would just run that clutch! Probably work out great for ya. I just recommend triple disc to anyone buying a clutch. Your already set there for your needs.

Gordon at innovative is real responsive. Phil at anarchy also has some slick tunes. Thats who I would use.

As far as 600hp. Stock fueling has only been able to do about 570 or 580. Timing gets off when you try and set pulse width long enough and smoke becomes present. 50hp injectors will compliment your turbo well. BBi without a doubt. Dont waste your time anywhere else. Your truck will run it's best with BBis.

A triple disc is a must obviously. Dan Vallance at valair clutches will get you set up.

I assume you have added a steering box brace and all that? You are going to need one..

Also, if you havent thought of it, axle truss. The 925 AAM axle is a partial scam.. it's not a bad axle, it just cant really be serviced like a dana can be.

Gordon is no longer at Innovative. GL Tuning solutions now I believe. A couple companies modify the Sxe chargers to bolt onto a 3rd gen. I've had good service out of Power Driven. Do tuning and turbo before fueling. It may just be enough.

Gordon did mine and responsive is his middle name I think. On top of that he modified my tunes to my liking. AGP turbo has excellent service for me as well. SXE; drop in. There’s more out there but these I have experienced.
