want to lift my 2wd

Just bought a 2wd 96 ram 2500 auto. I've been reading but I'm still wondering how will my truck drive with a small lift and how will it drive while towing? I ask because I was very close to purchasing this kit off eBay
Steel Lift Kit Front 3" Rear Cast Block 2" w Shock Extender Bump Stop 2WD 4x2 | eBay
Anyone recommend a better kit for roughly same price? I'm trying to purchase something ASAP. Thanks in advance.

Here's my wimpy looking truck

As far as I know the extent of off the shelf "lifts" for the 2nd gen 2wd's are leveling kits.

1994 2wd auto, Transgo and some billet goodies, 4" TB, 94,000 miles. http://http://tinyurl.com/2wd-to-4wd-build

I used daystar 1.5inch spacers and shocks on mine. It brought the front up about 2 inches. It drives and rides about as good as stock and I had no alignment issues.

2001, 2WD, Red, Quad cab short bed, SLT Laramie, 50k original miles, Leveling kit, 16x8 ION alloys w/ 265 Cooper discoverers, FASS DDRP and a BIG honking air filter!!
