Thanks for explaining that 55_Cans. I looked into this issue a little deeper, and after reading some of the complaints, I think anyone who owns, or is looking the own a 06' 2500 or 3500 should too. Here is one of the more alarming complaints I read:
See #8 of 10 Faulty TIPM complaints "This is an extremely dangerous situation, luckily I did not open my truck hood until the fire crew arrived. Mechanic found that only the 2006 model year has this tipm it was changed from the 2005 model and then changed again in 2007. I think Dodge knew of this fault in the tipm circuit board with the turn signal switch and changed it for the next model year. It has been 3 weeks since the fire and my truck is still being worked on."
This complaint should be read in its entirety here:

I did find a fix on another Dodge Truck forum for a TIPM fuel pump relay failure using a $30 part, instead of the $1,200 the repair shop wanted. But i'm not sure what the rules are about posting a link to it? The bypass kit was received, then installed by the owner in 5 minutes, and its working!
I guess after learning all this I should be looking for a 05'? Your thoughts?
