Oil drain valve - - - Fumoto??

I just finished changing oil for the first time on this truck. Seems like its always a mess when the oil drains from the large plug. I always have some splash outside my drain pan. I'm looking for a better (cleaner) way to drain my oil. An oil drain valve with a nipple would seem to be a good answer. The only downside is that it sticks down a little further which might put it at risk when using the truck off-road. The oil pan is tucked back up and is clearly not the lowest item hanging down, so it does have some protection. I think I might be interested in one of the Fumoto valves, but they are unable to tell me if their valve will fit. The newest Cummins they have listed for fitment is a 2017. I havent measured anything on the 2019 oil plug, but I would bet its the same as the 2017. Does anyone know? Are there any other brands of quality valves? Is there a better way of draining oil?

I cant attest to the fitment on the 19's, but I have had a fumoto valve on my 13 since first oil changes with no problems at all.

That sticking down issue would be an issue for me. The thing sits now with the drain recessed and flush with the skid plates. I plow along dirt trails in Georgia, power lines, weed lines and out on the prairie in Wyoming. Anything sticking down could be a disaster.

Think it's a good idea if you stay on the roads. If doing any off-road ... avoid.

Doesnít Genos also have that flatter style one that you have to screw the tube into to open the valve? Might be lower profile for light off-roading to keep it under the skid plate.
