2019 2500 diesel noise

So I just traded in my 18’ 2500 Diesel in for the 19’ and noticed it sounds way deeper and you can hear the engine a lot more when just starting to accelerate... anyone else notice and what did they change for it to sound this way???

I traded in the same thing as you. I don't notice a deeper sound. Mine has more of a "clack" to it. almost like something is vibrating. There are certain times when accelerating from a stop, especially when cold, that I hear more noise, but it's a weird noise. Almost like a large fan.

95% of the time you will only hear the very large redesigned engine cooling fan. There are times when I have the radio off and windows down that I can catch a hint of diesel clack when I first hit the accelerator. Just for a second or so.

i've put 100 miles on my '19, and coming from two 1st gens, one 2nd gen, and one 3rd gen, this

Ya it’s probably the fan, just louder then the 18.
