I had a 2019 1500 bighorn with the led lighting package. I loved them. Unfortunately, my 3500 doesn't have them and a swap just isn't worth the money.

my laramie has the leds. I was blown away at how much better they were than my 14. The left or right fog light illuminates when turning. Pretty neat, and very happy with them!

absolutely, I love the LED lights especially with the cornering. When I have the LED fog lights on at night it's almost too bright

Are the bi-function/adaptive LED’s a big upgrade in brightness and functionality over the more basic LED’s in the Laramie? My aging eyes are asking! Looking to light up the sky!

The front end is completely different 18 to 19. It wouldn’t be a direct swap.

Probably, but you’d have to do the facelift.

Remember to 05-06 change? When people were swapping the fenders, lights, bumper, and grill? It’s exactly like that, but add a hood as well.

I have a broken 2019 truck.

I also have a working 2004 truck.

My wife has had adaptive headlamps on her cars since 2008. They're worth it IMO. I doubt the lights are any brighter on the Ram (adaptive vs standard LED). But, when they are pointing in the direction you're driving, it helps a lot. I would have paid extra for them when I ordered my Ram but they were only available with the Limited, and the Limited only comes with bucket seats in the front.

It's about time for good light on the Rams and they did a great job on these.

I am refering more to the bulbs being exchanged rather than a whole face lift for the 2018

The LEDs inside the 2019 headlight housings aren’t “bulbs” like you’re thinking (like you can buy a 9006 led). It’s an entire circuit board assembly. If a “bulb” burns out, the entire headlight assembly gets replaced. I suppose anything is possible with enough fabrication, though.

Just to re-emphasize what has already been said..The LEDs are amazing. the best headlights I have ever seen. I got flashed often when the truck was stock height. Now I have leveled it with 35" tires and lowered (re-adjusted) the headlights and rarely get flashed and they are still amazing. I drove my work F550 last night and was so disappointed compared to my Ram.
