new truck

As you see from my profile I already have a 2016 limited which now has 390,000 and its time to order a new one. I did that today and I guess I'll have it in about 6 weeks or so. Ordered another limited 3500 SRW 4x4. again got the auto level suspension and Aisin trans. Color will be white with a black interior. dual alternators and every option except sunroof, I use A/C. I will keep the 2016 and continue to use it. I really can't complain with it. In its almost 400,000 miles I have only replace the turbo and now this week the rear air suspension compressor. Not to bad for a truck that tows large trailers everywhere. Hopefully there will be some sort of incentives when it gets in, right now there are none but I will get the truck for under invoice.

Congrats on the new one once it gets in.
Sounds like the not so old girl has served you very well in its short time.

Glad to hear it.
I also have an ‘18 Megacab Laramie 3500 SRW 4x4 with the Aisin, also white. So hearing yours has so many seemingly trouble free miles is definitely positive.
Course I bought the truck based on a lot of experiences like yours that I read about

Sounds like running the business right, making money to be able to update your equipment.

Sir, that is some impressive miles.

At the rate I drive, if I get 390,000 miles on my truck it will be 65 years old. And I will be 110.

Your 2016 was DRW........any particular reason why you went SRW this time?

My current 2016 is all stock with all emission parts still there, I live in Calif and have to keep it all there. Being honest the emission system has been no problem at all but remember I do not start the truck up and drive 10 miles to work. I get on the highway and drive for 11 hours with a load so the system is doing what it is designed for.
