3500 dually wheels

Well Iíve pretty much decided to keep my truck but Iíd like to put some different wheels on it. Iím wondering if anyone has removed the hub extension on the front axle of your 3500 dually and put on a rim say for the front end of a 3500 single rear wheel truck. Is the hub extension a simple unbolt or will I have to change wheel studs and or anything else. Thanks

Unless something changed recently its a simple unbolt.
You will end up with different sized wheels front and rear though unless you are planning on replacing all 6.

Not on mine, but others. I even have a set of front spacers in the garage!
The spacers bolt on to the standard hub, thats the easy part. Your factory dually wheels are either 17.5 or 19.5, you wont find a single (unless custom made) in that diameter.
