Does everyone keep the exhaust system after a delete?

Wondering if everyone keeps this stuff or gets rid of it.

Keep it, in the future when all the deleted trucks are forced back into compliance, all those exhaust systems will cost a fortune.

You can store them outside, they're made of stainless steel, they won't rust away.

It would cost you about 12K to replace it. Keep it!

Thanks for the replies. I gathered it up and stored it away. The reason I asked is I kind of had to ask the place that did the delete to give it back to me. Also, should the def gauge read empty after a delete? Or is there away to make it read full?

Depends on tuner. Some make it read full while others make it read empty

Definitely keep it, like previous posts stated you never know.
As for the gauge, mine reads full.

Also, if someone buys it and wants to ship it overseas, it has to be brought back to bone stock before it can enter most Countries.

When I sold my Hardly Dangerous, some guy from Norway bought it and shipped it back. Had it not been for me having all the original takeoffs, I would have gotten hurt worse than I did. And any worse, I would have just set it on fire. Not for insurance purposes, just burn it so nobody could ever ride it again.

Mine doesn’t. I have a efi. It’s going back to the shop. Truck left me stranded today. Only pulled fuel from my front tank, ran me out of fuel. I’m starting to wish I wouldn’t have deleted.

DEF tank should be left totally filled - emptying the tank will allow the remaining coating on tank walls / etc to crystalize and cause a problem. Worst case if need be, a drain and refill with fresh DEF can be done in the future
