Fog light plug and led questions

Iím looking at add a set of baja designs squadron SAEs to my road armor bumper and would like to hook them up to the factory wiring but I need to replace the factory plug because it came loose after installing the road armor and got ate by the tire. Iíve looked all over but canít find a replacement plug, could anyone help me find one?

Second question, selecting led for fogs in alphaobd will remove any errors and alphaobd will also allow them to stay on with high beams correct? Iíve never used it I only know what Iíve read on here. Thanks.

Canít answer the first one but the second one, yes, AlfaOBD will do exactly what youíre asking! The first thing I did when I got it was to keep dogs on with highs and switched to LED. Worked perfect!

Perfect, thank you sir. Guess I need to get an android tablet and the software. I am not one bit knowledgeable when it comes to electronics

I'm not positive they carry it, but I'd try Geno's Garage for the plug.

I couldnít find it listed on their site but an email to them probably wouldnít hurt

The factory fog lights accept a standard 9005 connector. You can get a set with wire whips that you can splice/solder/heat shrink-

Or you can get the kit to crimp the terminals onto the wires that you cut back-

Here’s the female connector only- https://nexelec.com/YAZAKI-7283557010/
The yazaki parts are hard to find without minimum order quantities. These are the terminals- https://nexelec.com/YAZAKI-7116415102/
These are the wire seals- https://nexelec.com/YAZAKI-7158311270/
Mopar doesn’t have a repair kit for this connector. Another option is to contact Mpgrimm2. He builds that small section of harness- https://www.ramforum.com/threads/m%C.../#post-1458161

Thank you. I think I understand what you originally said, the BD squadrons use 2 pin weather pak connectors, I could just get 2 male weather pak connectors and some wire to extend off the factory wires and hook them up that way correct?

Me, personally- thereís absolutely no reason for that inline junction connector to be there. I would just cut the male and female connectors off and splice/solder/heat shrink/and split loom those wires.

I think Iíd want one connection in there so the lights can be removed from the truck harness
