Just cheap here. I even have a new set in my basement that I didn't end up using.

The only real difference AFAIK (anyone feel free to correct me if Iím wrong) between the name brand and fleabay stuff is the hose quality, nicer fasteners, and a different name smeared on the intake blockoff plate. Had a cheapie on mine for ~80k mi now and zero problems, even with the cheapie bypass hose.

My 12 was already done so I don't know how much the kits are. I didn't like the looks of the deletes so I used a $100 ebay Pusher/Chinese intake to get rid of the butt ugly capped horn and cut/capped the water stand pipe. I drilled out the heater nipple to get the water jacket psi down after plugging the egr water. You could delete with a cheap elbow, manifold caps and a 1/2 npt plug. Craig

Let’s consider what you’re doing. You’re putting a block off plate on the exhaust manifold and your intake manifold.

Who cares which kit you buy. Just get the cheapest one out there. You gain nothing by going with a reputable brand. Maybe a flashy logo and a cool color painted onto it. That’s about it.

Now if we’re talking actual mechanical (turbo, injectors, etc) parts then yes, go for the reputable company.

Plus you’re never going to see it or feel it while you’re driving. Try not to spend to much time shopping for this product. They’re all the same.
