It gets worse.

Pulled the 3500 out of the garage for a free car wash (it's supposed to rain for two days), and the EVIC said "4WD shift in progress" while backing out. Never seen that message before.

Now I can only hope that the dealer opens early tomorrow. The safe thing to do would be to tow the 3500 there. If only my 1500 identified as a '19, it would have the tow rating to do it.

Ah, what the heck, it's all downhill. What could possibly go wrong?

Maybe if we start telling people that the brain is an app, they will start using it?

'14 1500 V6, '17 3500 C&C, plus a '19 3500 6.4 in the household.

Dang! That's even the same kind of rear fenders that I use when the flatbed isn't on.
Maybe the dealer does house calls?

It’s usually when you enquire on what the possibility is of something going wrong, that
life has an uncanny way of showing you!

Just noticed that it's all a moot point now.

Since it's raining I'm going through logs, checking inventory, and ordering fluids and filters (mostly for tractors), according to the upcoming needs.

Well, it turns out that while I have 12 gallons of engine oil and two filters for the 3500, its oil should've been changed yesterday.

Yep, it's six months and one day since the last change, so the warranty is now void. As much as I'd like to take it to the dealer, it's too late. Oh well.

Maybe if we start telling people that the brain is an app, they will start using it?

One less thing to worry about. No warranty = do whatever you want from now on. Just think, you can wait 6 months and 2 days next time and be all relaxed about it.

You might be right, Dogpatch. What if my drag link fails tonight?
It's not used to being outside at night.

Of course, it's still daylight. I could go weld it right now, in the rain. What could possibly go wrong?

I can see the average Regen. When it is Regening, the EGTs and the DPF percentage full.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What phone AP and OBD2 dongle does that?

Thanks!
