Could it be a lack of lsd additive?

If you have the Helical limited slip you are not supposed to use the LS additive!! My installer told me you are not even supposed to use Synthetic oil but I like using synthetic myself!!

Is that the factory anti spin?

Does it say not to add frictionn modifier anywhere?

What's everyone paying to regear? I just paid for my 4:10s. $3200 parts and labor. Plus after the break in we tear it down and check everything over and done.

Am I correct in what I'm seeing that there is no carrier change in going from 3.42's to 4.10's or lower?

the installer used Valvoline with the friction modifier in it. He said it shouldn't need anything else.
He said I could try adding some and report back to him.
I just picked some up and took out 4oz of fluid and replaced with the 4oz of friction modifier.

Driving around it feels fine, but I also don't have any load on it. I will see when I have a load on it again

Do you have to plug a computer into the truck to tell the computer it has the new gears, whatever they may be? Or just drive the truck and do a relearn?
