Just curious how much money i could see for selling all my epa products. Or were or who to sell them to. Only had 5000 miles on them and thats it.

Epa products?

You mean your deleted emissions equipment?

Where do you live? You probably should store that stuff away for when you need to reinstall it.

Supposed to be coming, my inspection guy has been warning me for the last couple of years.

Farm tags won't make any difference if your in an emissions county.

And, if you ever hope to trade it in or sell it someday, you'll need all that stuff.

I would keep it for when you sell it. Always easier to sell a factory truck then a modified one. I believe you are still required by law to notify the buyer the emissions had been tampered with. But so few of these parts are failing, even fewer are failing outside or warranty demand seems real low for the parts, not the best sellers market at the current time.

Ya time will tell we will see. I just see some parts going for bank and mines just sitting in the attic. And idk if i would ever wanna put back on and plan on keeping the truck for a long time. Money just seems nice lol. And the county i can farm tag it at is just safety check as of now.

Unless you really want the $$$ all that stuff will make the truck worth more money when you sell it, perhaps.

Cheaper to keep the EPA stuff than try to by it back when the tree huggers win or wait till the tree huggers do win and make a ton more cash off of it when everyone is scrambling to put the EPA stuff back on their truck to pass inspection. Some of those parts are really expensive in the thousands$$$$.

The newer EPA stuff isn't worth much, so depends on the year of the truck. As others already said its better to hang on to it because the $150 to $200 you get now probably won't even buy one of the sensors in your exhaust much less be worth replacing the whole thing.

Are you seeing it sell for "bank" or just someone trying to sell it for big $$$$. Its like when I see factory take off tires for $2k, last thing I think is someone will actually buy it, its like they find the most expensive place to buy transforce tires and ask that price.

Tx will never be regulated. Lots of old farts doing the same song and dance hoopla for years. Tons of heresay not enough action.

Supposedly we only have 12 years left if we donít take care of our climate too.

Never say NEVER!! All it would take is a future administration to require it at the federal level. The laws already exist at the federal AND STATE level so you are only talking about enforcing an existing law. Does not take much to do that, passing the law is the hard part. So in two years, or 6 years or 10 years it could happen nation wide with the climate garbage being such a hot topic. If they can start banning straws because some wacko decided that is the number one cause of all plastic pollution in the world, which is the farthest from the truth, I would not count anything out.
