Roof top clearence lights

Looks at left over 2018s, how come only some models have the rooftop lights? Are they not required based on width? What package options come with them?

I’m looking at 2018 Larime mega cabs. Some have the lights and some don’t.

Some were ordered with that option, some weren't.

And, a Laramie Mega cab could be a single rear wheel or a dually, could be a 2500 or 3500, but as I stated, only the dually will come standard with the cab clearance lights.

I had the dealer install them on a 98 and my current 17 if the truck you want doesn't have them.

i always looked at them as 15 unneeded holes in your roof... and somehow I always ended up with them.

When I was truck shopping, having cab lights already installed from the factory was a requirement for me....

I am just the opposite, I did not want them. They all seem to leak someday.

Not having them was one of my needs when I was looking for my used 2500! As it has been said, extra holes on roof to leak.
