First Dually

Traded in my 2500 Laramie yesterday for my first Dually. It will take a little while to get use to the wide rear end. Lol! It will be a daily driver. Installed Reese hitch adapter tonight. Thought that was a pain in the butt. Install then pull out adjust several times. Finally no play up and down. Have slight play front to back. Donít know if that will hurt anything other a little noise maybe. If this will hurt anything on the first tow, someone please chime in. Heading to Pigeon Forge Friday pulling our 40ft Cougar fifth wheel. Looking forward to trying the 4.10 gears and Aisin transmission. First Dually-resized_20190521_202645-1-.jpg

Training wheels and proud! The only problem is, once you tow heavy with a dually, you will never go back to SRW unless you stop towing. Incredible difference.

So what's the towing capacity of the mega cab dually set up? And how much of a difference does that short bed make when it comes to maneuvering a 5th wheel and worrying about it contacting the truck?

Very nice! I will be picking up my first dually later this week (2015 MegaCab Laramie Aisin). Looking forward to towing our 37' Montana this summer! My '06 Mega SRW managed to get the job done, but I'm sure I will appreciate this dually (and the Aisin 6 spd) very much!

This is most definitely true. Then you will fight yourself for the rest of your life on which one to buy for a daily lol!
