What do you do for a living?

Out of curiosity, I always wonder. There are a lot of beautiful rigs on this forum, when you guys post pictures you have awesome equipment, beautiful homes and beautiful trailers.

I’m a journeyman Ironworker Local 433
I’m a huge gear head, love all things mechanical and buying my Ram has been a pleasing journey.

Hard work pays off, let’s see what you guys do.

I am an IT Manager for a elder care company that spans the US. I manage a team that provides support to about 200 nursing homes. I fell into IT when I went to work at Intel in 1993 while going through school for my BSEE. Things ended up not proceeding that way. I got my Class A CDL two years ago knowing that this career will be closing out sometime soon.
Great idea for the thread.

My mind always wonders, I drive and always notice the nice stuff, almost makes me want to know on someone’s door and ask what they do.

Who knows, maybe this thread will make the younger crowd look into different types of careers, these trucks aren’t cheap, and a lot of you use them to MAKE money not just to drive around. Who knows, I might venture into something for myself in the future, I’ve always wanted to own my own company.

I play ding-dong-ditch and model uncomfortablely small shorts. I wear a lot of brown for work too. Drive around in a brown truck and constantly park it in peoples way. Iím my customers favorite and also only UPS guy.

Proud Member of the Teamsters Union, I also drive tractor trailer for Uncle Sam one weekend a month, and dabble in real estate investing as well.

I look forward to seeing what other people do here. Iím 23 and feel fortunate to work for a company worth retiring from, but also being young enough to start a new career if I want too as well.
