By the amount of adjustment required, It looks as though the right light assembly (passenger) isnít sitting in the right position on the body mounts. It doesnít take but a small bit to make a difference.
Just a thought.
I'm not even going to worry about the right side yet. If it wants to put the cutout in a non horizontal fashion, so be it. For now.
That side has a much better reveal against the body than the driver's side, by the way.
Took the left one out and tried adjusting it "on the bench", thought the adjuster started working and reinstalled it. Nope.
Took it out again, and completely disregarded the "three turns max" stickers. After all, what did I have to lose at this point?
Kept turning until a screwdriver wouldn't work anymore, and switched to an 8 mm socket.
At one point it went "click" somewhere inside. Uh, oh, now I really screwed it up, I thought.
Well, it looks like 10-20 turns made something start to function in the adjustment mechanism.
I'm writing this while still in a good mood, before going back out and reinstalling that light, again, to find out if it'll work now.
