My 4 tank rolling average (about 75% highway) on the EVIC is showing 21.7 mpg as of last night when I got home from the beach -

Hand calculated its within .5 mpg so I'm very impressed with the EVIC being decently accurate -

Not bad for bone stock all emissions intact and no bed cover (yet)

Had to make a run to California from Texas. My average mixed driving is about 14.8 but have gotten a little over 16 on a highway trip. Always 1 to 1.5 mpg below EVIC.
Got out past San Antonio on 10 and was facing a 25 mph headwind. Fueled up and calculated 15.6 mpg. Headwind continued to get worse on I to El Paso. Next fuel up 13.8 mpg. Still getting worse with the winds, probably 40mph with 50+ gusts. Next fuel up 13.3 mpg. Finally in Arizona winds became calm after dark. Filled up at Chevron instead of a truck stop. Went 210 miles on 1/4 tank. EVIC was showing 20.2 mpg. Topped off just before entering California, calculated 19.0 mpg! Speeds were averaging 65 to 70 mph.
This was with no trailer, just me and some gear, stock truck. CC DRW 3500 4.10 w/68RFE

Truck seemed to run smoother on the Chevron diesel. Hmmm...wondering if their fuel really is better.

Not bad for this month, considering it's planting season. Only some minor trailer hauling, some cutting tracks and usually a half ton to ton of seed under the topper.

Mostly travel miles to farm and back and between fields. May has been a bad month in all other aspects besides cost fuel in the pickup.

If I remember correctly, it's called fillup. Easy app to use and gives lots of data and breakdown. Makes it work well for what I need, fuelly was miserable to use.

I’ll have to look into that, I’ve been using Fuelly it does the job but I’m not impressed... I’ve been averaging 19-21empty according to the app

I use Fuelly as well, can’t really complain, it does the job.

The only Fill-up app I see in iOS is fill-up tracker. Can’t imagine it’s the same, fuelly is way better.

The android app is kind of miserable on fuelly, that might be why it seems alright on iOS

I just started using an app as I've been using pen and paper for 13 years. It is more convenient to log business miles with so I can go back and look at mileage on certain dates. It definitely is nice having graphics and data to use to trend expenses.

I’ve been using fuelly since you had to text message the info to their phone number before I had a smart phone lol... My biggest complaint with fuelly is you can’t get month by month totals. You can filter them by month in you entries but still have to total by hand..

Fuelly beats writing milage on the back of receipts and stuffing them in an envelope, did that for years.. it lets you track maintenance also.
