Door Locks After BTSI Recall

I took my truck to have the brake transmission shift interlock recall performed, which required a flash to the BCM. When I got it back, I noticed a few things. All my vehicle settings were changed, such as, headlight delay, sound horn when lock, etc. After I got them all back the way I like, I noticed one more thing. Since I took delivery of my truck brand new (2017 2500 tradesman), all the door locks and tailgate lock would unlock simultaneously when I press the unlock button on the fob. Now when I press the unlock button, only the driver door unlocks, then I press it again and the rest of the doors and tailgate unlock. I canít find a setting on the radio for this feature, and I donít know if it was ever a setting to change since I never messed with it. So, my questions are, to those that havenít had the recall done, do your doors unlock like mine used to? Is there a setting in the radio to change this feature?

Aftermarket running with idatalink maestro, which retains all the vehicle settings that the 5.0 and 8.4 have.

Default door lock setting is two taps to unlock all.

The setting is in the settings in the radio, since you have an aftermarket radio, you'll just have to keep digging through the menus to find it, but I'm sure it's there.

My truck reset several things but not everything when I had the recall done. I have the 5.0 and the setting is somewhere in there.

It is a setting accessible though the radio. Mine did the same thing. Everything changed to factory defaults.

Thanks guys. At least I know itís a setting in the factory radios now, so I can have Maestro make a firmware that will add it.

Really. I had no idea. Mine has always locked/unlocked everything with 1 tap, which suits me fine, and that's persisted through the various recalls and flashes. I assume it was changed by the rancher who had the truck for the first 1100 miles. Thanks for the info ... in case it ever resets.

I have the 2015 tradesman and it has always had, and still does have the one push unlock all. ( I have had it since new) Even after updates when it was stock. Dealer installed factory remote start and it came with 2 new fobs and they flashed the computer to tell it, it had auto start and still one push. Same thing after delete, one push unlocks all.
Good luck.
