Heated Seats/Wheel won't turn off

I start the truck in the morning and turn the heated seats and wheel on. Couple miles down the road, I turn them off on the touch screen. The symbols go off, but the heated seats and wheel continue to heat. You can go back to climate control and touch the heated seats option and they both appear back on and the symbols come up at the top of the screen (without actually turning them on). Turn them off and they go away, go back to radio, then back to climate and open it up and they reappear. At no time will they stop heating.

I know I'm under warranty and I plan to take it to the dealer the next time I get a chance but the dealer is 2 hours away and I'm wondering if it's something simple that I can fix myself. Anyone else have this issue?

Mine doesn't have any buttons

Yes, after you shut it off and let it sit then start it back up they are off. But you turn them on again and they won't go off until the truck is shut off again.

If the above doesnít fix it, check under the driverís seat. There is a 20 pin grey connector at the front of the seat right next to the yellow connector. That connector houses most of the wires for the heated and vented seats. Make sure that it is seated properly. Donít mess with the yellow connector without disconnecting the battery as the airbag connections are in the yellow connector.

You could also disconnect the batteries for 15 minutes and let the comfort seat and wheel module reset.

Did this happen after a update? I would call dealership and see maybe a update may be needed. Otherwise I would unhook batteries and let sit for .5 hrs and let modules reset.

I'll check both of those. It wasn't after an update. We haven't had any updates done yet. I think something just needs reset and unhooking the batteries for 30 minutes or so might do the trick!

Thanks for the input.

Pull battery connections, wait 15 minutes or so, put back on. Sometimes the BCM will hang. It is a computer after all, and things happen. I've done this on many vehicles when something like this arrises. I wouldn't get worried about a single event. If it continues, take it to the dealer.

Can't you go into your screen and hit the default?
That should reset everything without having to pull battery cables.

Same issue here. I've had it say they're on and never actually turn on and same some times with shutting off. I took acouple videos to prove it. Haven't gone to the dealer and when i posted about it I didn't get any replies with anyone else having the issue. Seemed pretty uncommon. I use my truck on the weekends only so it doesn't really bother me but I'll probably unplug the batter next winter and hopefully it will fix itself. If not I will have to go to the dealer before the warranty is up.

This is happening to me. Turn them off and they stay on. When you click the control screen the buttons all illuminate again. Only solution is to turn the truck off
