I am not sure if the correct term is RKE or RFH. Either way, just trying to figure out how to replace it myself instead of paying the dealer.

Which Autel unit are you referring to?
I'm fairly certain we're talking about the same thing. Autel Maxisys is what I'm referring to and it's used primarily on our trucks to adjust all of the TPMS settings. More widely discussed in Updated: How to set TPMS to ANY pressure.

I originally posted this over in the TPMS thread when asked about disabling the TPMS but this portion belongs here ...

I've messed with quite a few settings and wanted to mention that I haven't experienced any "weirdness" with any setting change except when I accidentally selecting a wrong HVAC setting looking for a way to change the temps of the auto comfort feature. Changing it back to the correct setting fixed the problem.

FYI, guys with aftermarket radios and the Maestro (and likely other similar devices) have to be careful, because that accidental HVAC setting totally jacked it up. I was able to reset it and program it again but it wasn't super easy.

So in ECU Configuration 13, I found CHMSL Lamp Output Disable. As soon as I get my AE software back I'll be testing this setting to see if it's the elusive ticket to the LED bed lights. The description makes sense but we'll see.

4x4x4door is right, you have to very careful with this devise. You can't just go and "ENABLE" a bunch of random things you want to work because it could possibly mess up your trucks BCM programming/configuration.

I learned this the hard way, I lost my remote start for a few months and finally got it back from a trip to the dealership.

Just be smart and enable/disable stuff that our trucks actually can come with. No matter what like everything else, this will come with trial and error. But once we get the information right it will be a great tool for us.

I've read the entire thread but never saw the answer. Can this tool & software Enable the EB setting to be 'Full On', Every time I start my truck?
I've always use the EB Full On in my 2500 & now my 3500. So its 2nd nature now for me to start my truck & hit the button before placing
the truck in drive. But it still would be nice to have this as an Automatic setting.

Thanks,
Dave...

We've yet to find that setting but it's very likely that it's only accessible via a delete tuner. I have it with my MM3 but I had to request it nad the person writing the tune file had to add it.

Found these options in 4x4x4doors excel sheet.

-Door courtesy lamps present-
-Door handle LED present (ambient lights)
- Door map pocket led present (ambient lights)

If the harnesses are there, would maybe an easy add. I would love to add the overhead map light/console assembly.

Anyone got an opinion what the "Side Mirror Repeaters Used As Side Markers" setting would be for?? Sounds like to makes the mirror blinker be a side marker, which I assume means running light. Mine was 'Not set' and I made it 'Set' but haven't noticed any difference.

I thought the exact same thing and “set” on my truck. Nothing happened on mine either. So I “not set” it.

These darn things. What the heck else could this option be used for?

Is it possible that the AutoTel developers installed options /selections on the device that Ram trucks do not have. So trying to turn on mirror lights as running lights ain't never gonna happen even if the AutoTel device provides a choice to do it?

It certainly is possible that this option is for another vehicle. I feel like it might need to be a combination of settings.

For the LED bed lights, I tried the "CHMSL Lamp Output Disable" from 'Not set' to 'Set' but the lights still work. Next up is "ECU Configuration 01 > Rear Fog Lamps Output Present" because mine was 'Set'. I'm not holding my breath because my "ECU Configuration 02 > LED Rear Fog Lamps Present" was 'Not set' but we'll see.

Ok, LED Rear Fog Lamps Present setting stopped the CHMSL from coming on when I unlock the doors, so no bueno.

I also messed around with the TPMS settings. On my truck the "Base TPM System Present" was 'Not set' and the "Premium TPM System Present" was 'Set'. I changed the Premium to 'Not set' and this morning the EVIC screen is gone. SO this is exactly what the Bullydog GT tuner is doing. Tonight I'll lower a tire to the point it should set off a warning and see what happens. I'll change the Base setting later this week and report back.

How much is the machine to chance the sells code. Here where I live they don't want to try to change them. So I will do it myself if it is possible and not too much expensive.
