Drag increases as a square of speed. Weíre driving big heavy trucks with barely better aerodynamics than a backyard shed (probably weighs about the same).

Iíd tickled pink if I could get my dually regularly over 15mpg...

For an emissions compliant 2012 I would say that was excellent.

Mine probably isn't emissions compliant since it's fully deleted and tuned with 5" exhaust from the turbo back.

Right foot and tires but you probably use yours as a truck so thatís what your going to get. For the power these 6.7s put out I donít know what people expect.

X100!

I smirk when someone in a half ton sees my rig and asks about fuel mileage.

Yes its heavy, yes its diesel, but when towing heavy it will get more miles of road covered on a single tank than say, a towing gasser combo.

Need to own both, and live in the foothills of northern mountain ranges.

I watch my temps first, mileage in these trucks last

Bought my truck in Phoenix, AZ drove it back home to Hanford, Ca and I got 16.3 from Phoenix to Castaic and then 17.2 from Castaic to Hanford. Truck is a 2011 CCSB 4x4 6.7 with 3:73’s and 35’s. I thought that was great considering that my 99’ CCSB 4x4 5.9 with 3:54’s and 33’s could only get 15.1 on the highway.

I've found that 62-67 MPH is the sweet spot for my 2011. Must be the prime turbo zone. Can easily get 19+ MPG out of it.

2011 CCLB Laramie 3500 SRW. EGR and DPF delete. AirAid CAI. MBRP 4" TBE. Smarty JR. Hell Bent Steel 2" Level. Bilstein 5100's up front. Loaded with the goodies I wanted.

Mine used to run around 18mpg, but my injectors are worn out causing a decline over the last few years. It’s struggled to get much more than 14 the last few tanks.
