Help with tuner decision..

I'm looking for a tuner for a 2012 6.7L 4x4 2500

Features im looking for:

egr delete
dpf delete
tire size calibration
door lock horn deactivation
tpms deactivation (or adjustment capabilities)
seat belt reminder chime deactivation

I'm leaning towards the h&s mini maxx but i dont know if it can do all the accessory stuff.

thanks in advance

Nice looking truck. Looks pricey. Dont cheap out on a tuner. H&s has been out of business for more than 5 years now. Get quality custom tuning from a reputable tuner. And get trans tuning. Your trans will hate life enough with those tires.

I believe the mm3 can do everything. I'm not sure really. From my understanding efi has more parameters available to tune. Imo I'd focus on getting the best available tuning and if it includes the rest, great. If not alfa obd should be able to handle it.

seat belt reminder chime deactivation - just search google to find fix for this. I did it on my truck and it is something like turning key on, pressing brake 3 times, key off, brake on, etc, etc. You can find it using google and it does work.

the mm3 has all these disclaimers about being emissions compliant.. doesn't that imply it wouldn't do the deletes?

and correct me if i'm wrong, but it's $850 for the tuner and an additional $450 for a tune?

You'll have to research that on your own. I do not know because I've always used efi. Call some tuners and pick their brains. Then you'll have a better feel for who you want to go with and what they can provide.

I'd recommend looking at EZ Lynk with CTT tunes. They're doing a great job with Cummins tuning and I've heard nothing but good things about their engine and trans tunes. Tuning isn't cheap but good tunes are worth the money.

As mentioned, H&S has been out of business for 5 years now and I wouldn't recommend going that route. I'm still running a MiniMaxx with custom tunes but only because I purchased it before they went out of business. I've strongly considered switching to EZ Lynk to be up to date with a more current platform.

I went with the H&S Minimaxx

it can do all the deletes and the accessory stuff i need too. seemed like a simple/logical choice.

let's see how it plays out ...

thanks everyone

The EZ Lynk looked neat but I couldnt find much detailed info on it and ... it's on the upper extreme right side of the price spectrum for sure.

Be sure the timing is set appropriate for the power level or you will lift the head...
